The All Solid Mahogany construction is what contributes to the sonic character of the instrument and any fully solid ukulele ( that is routinely played) is only going to get better with time. Mahogany is a warm sounding wood which is highly preferred for ukuleles.

The Vault Performer Pro All Solid Mahogany Premium Soprano Ukulele features a Techwood Fretboard, giving an even and smooth feel as you move along. It comes with Aquila strings that produce an exceptionally bright tone and a vibrant sound.

Premium Tuners with OX Bone Nut and Saddle

Aquila Super Nylgut Strings

Super Nylgut sets have a fascinating pearly color and a smooth and pleasant surface under the fingers like a natural wax. They are quite soft but at the same time less stretchable, so they are easier to bring to the desired note and even when new, they keep the intonation in check. In addition, Super Nylgut is stronger and is therefore less sensitive to any sharp corners of the nut, it dents less against the frets or when played with the fingernails.
